Think you have what it takes to survive the zombie apocalypse? Always wondered what it would be like to hunt as a zombie? Here is your chance to experience both! You can run, jog, or walk as a civilian trying to avoid the zombies. Keep your head up the whole way! You never know where they’ll be. Or perhaps you would rather BE THE ZOMBIE! Increase your chances of survival by showing up in your best UNDEAD look! But don’t think you’re totally in the clear! This years event takes place on Saturday, April 21st  from 11 am till 7:30 pm at the Walthall Park (600 Walnut Street at Rebecca Avenue) in the Historic Neighborhood, Downtown Hattiesburg.

Kick back and enjoy a beautiful day and great music, help yourself to boiled crawfish and an ice cold beer or hot dogs and burgers and Coke! The kids will enjoy the Kids Play land featuring various slides and bounces for kids of all ages, and art contest, face-painting.

Proceeds from the Festival are reinvested in the community through the HHNA and Walthall Foundation, providing support for projects and events including Historic Preservation Projects, Night Out Against Crime and upkeep of the Walthall property, among others.
