The Annual Victorian Candlelit Christmas event is a two-day holiday-favorite event that draws hundreds of visitors from across the region to explore the spectacle of 18,000 white bags with flickering candles, lining the sidewalks of the Historic Neighborhood and the downtown district.
Guests are invited to experience the nostalgia of a simpler time as they travel historic streets lined with luminaries alongside more than 300 homes and businesses decorated for the holidays with garlands, bows, and twinkling lights.
There will be horse-drawn carriage rides leaving from the Walthall, food trucks and holiday photo ops available in Walthall Park.
Carriage rides will be provided by The Honey Island Clydesdales. Carriage rides are $10, tickets available only at Walthall.
Holiday Home Tours featuring the Crawford House, the Worrel home, and The Elks building in Downtown. Tickets are $10 and available at the Walthall and each location.
On Saturday night only, Santa will be available for photos inside the Walthall Community Center. Sacred Heart Church will be caroling on the church front steps, Bay Street Presbyterian will host caroling on the church steps, Court Street United Methodist Church will host activities.
